About Us

Retailanthropy, established in 2018 is founded on the ideal of the well-rounded, thoughtful, and effortless woman. This woman represents a state-of-being: relaxed style, confidence, philanthropy.

At Retailanthropy, each item is hand-curated to embody a deliberate balance between comfort and ease. Design inspirations stem from high-fashion and urban wear, art and photography, and global travel destinations.

Miya Dubin

Miya Dubin, a Chicago native and former professional model, has an uncanny ability to be quirky yet en vogue, all in one. Behind the scenes, you can find her obsessing over fashion design books, preparing a vegan meal, or wandering the globe with her husband and partner Brian, for their 5013c charity.

Long standing experience in retail strategy, buying, styling and merchandising has not only given Miya a multi-faceted approach to the business of retail, but has established an intuitive and detailed eye for spotting new trends that women respond to.

How we started and why

Growing up in a home with a fashion and jewelry designer parent, Miya Dubin grew intoxicated with fashion. Early on, she realized there was something incredibly alluring about fashion's ability to shift and constantly renew itself.

In 2013, Brian Dubin established The Wandering Capitalist (TWC), a 5013c charity where 100% of proceeds are donated. TWC’s mission is helping at-risk youth re-engage in school by involving and teaching them entrepreneurial skills and activities that redirect their energies toward positive changes.

In 2016, Miya took on a director’s role with TWC while developing a retail concept to further her immersion with fashion. They later discovered synergy in collaborating philanthropy and retail, and the idea of donating 10% of each sale from Miya’s online dress shop to the TWC formed.

In 2018 they invented the slogan “Goods doing Good” and the execution of Retailanthropy began to manifest.

Our Mission

To empower, inspire and contribute through the synergy of fashion and philanthropy

100% of TWC funds are then donated to elected Chicago & Boston charities. Nearly $100k rasied and counting…

Charity donations help underprivileged, at-rick youth learn and develop entrepreneurial skill sets and encourage innovation in order to succeed.

10% of every retailanthropy purchase is donated to TWC

Brian & Miya Dubin use global travel as a vehicle to raise money for and bring awareness to The Wandering Capitalist (TWC), their self-funded 5013c charity.

Miya also sources new fashion trends for retailanthropy.

Each time you purchase something from our store, we donate 10% to our self-funded 5013c charity, The Wandering Capitalist (TWC). TWC donates 100% of proceeds to helping at-risk youth re-engage in school by involving and teaching them entrepreneurial skills and activities that redirect their energies toward position changes.

As an employee of a non-profit, I love Retailanthropy’s jewelry and focus on charity.
